SEPTA 5th & Market

A.P. Construction was awarded this Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) project to enhance the 5th & Market Street/Independence Hall Station that is served by the Market-Frankford Line.

A.P. performed the following improvements: street, mezzanine and platform level renovations as well as the stair corridor and track area restorations. Features of this project highlight two glass headhouses that provide more natural light into the previously poorly-lit station along with LED lighting.

This general construction project was awarded the Best Masonry Construction Project of 2021 by the General Building Contractors Association of Philadelphia.
